Preceptor Development 101: Principles of Learning Design
The first course in the Preceptor Development Series, Preceptor Development 101 - Principles of Learning Design, covers how to create a learning experience using contemporary best practices in educational design.
Preceptor Development 102: Assessment and Rubrics
The second course in the Preceptor Development Series, Preceptor Development 102 - Assessment and Rubrics, reviews alignment of learning goals with assessment techniques, with particular attention on optimizing rubrics as assessment tools.
Preceptor Development 103: Designing a Rotation
The third course in the Preceptor Development Series, Preceptor Development 103 - Designing a rotation, allows participants to apply the concepts of our previous preceptor development courses (e.g., backward design, assessment) to the design of a rotation. Upon completion of this course, you will leave the CE with a sample sequence of activities to leverage on a rotation for either a novice or advanced learner.
