Full course description
Welcome to the third course in our Preceptor Development Series: Preceptor Development 103 - Designing a Rotation. By the conclusion of this CE course, participants will be able to apply the concepts of our previous preceptor development courses (e.g., backward design, assessment) to the design of a rotation. Participants will leave the CE with a sample sequence of activities to leverage on rotation for either a novice or advanced learner. Your course facilitator for "Designing a Rotation" is Dr. Victoria Williams, PharmD.
After completing this module, the participant should be able to:
- Describe key questions in design of experiential education
- Redesign APPE/resident rotations through application of backward design
- Develop sample schedule of activites for designed rotation experience
